Desks are the streaming stations. A white two-monitor table and a black multi-monitor table already show up in live plots. The rarity that matters is Rare, because that is what the Blue Cheese Crate is built to roll.
What a desk does
Once placed, a desk prints Cash while the plot is live. You do not have to stand inside the chair collider. You do have to keep the server running. CPS is not published as a table, but Sportskeeda’s Rare-desk line of tens of thousands per second is the working baseline. The cash calculator uses 25,000 so you can plan an hour.
Common desks exist; the Store UI even stamps Common on a pass card. Commons are the furniture you start with or buy in bulk, which is why hotbars show x40 and x75. Those stacks are not 75 Rares. Seat one good printer and Sell the rest if they block tiles.
Rare desks from crates
FirstCodeEver’s Blue Cheese Crate is the documented Rare source. Open it with crate steps. If the roll looks like a desk you already have, check Index before you Sell. Duplicate Rares can still be extra printers. Duplicate Commons are floor trash.
Place Rares on indoor tiles facing the cheese set. Outdoor grass is for overflow and Co-Op photos. The map marks both. A desk in a doorway will make you hate the game more than a slow CPS ever will.
Upgrading without a wiki spreadsheet
Until Cheesy Situation publishes names, judge a desk by monitors, footprint, and whether Index lists it as a new entry. More screens usually mean a later station. Lamps next to a desk are decor, not a CPS upgrade. If a Shop listing says desk and shows a cheese wheel, still treat it as a printer until Cash moves.
Paid Starter Pack art shows a snack table with cheese. That may be a mini-set rather than a top-tier desk. Buy it for convenience, not because the thumbnail looks delicious. Rank it against Permanent 2x Cash on starter builds.
Desks after rebirth
If rebirth wipes printers, your next Rare has to come from another crate or a repurchase. That is why you never prestige a ticking crate. Read how to rebirth before you experiment. If rebirth keeps Rares, chain them and ignore this warning once you have proof on your account.
Event desks will likely debut during BACKROOMS. Take the printer before the poster. Then come back here and note the name in Index so the next crate is not a mystery icon.
